OEM Console Bug in XML DB Using 188.8.131.52.0 Patchset
by Jeff Hunter, Sr. Database Administrator
Although all of the configuration for XML DB can be done through the package DBMS_XDB, Oracle Enterprise Manager (Release 9.2) provides a GUI that can assist as well. When using 184.108.40.206.0 this feature allowed the DBA to make changes to components such FTP or HTTP port numbers.
After applying the 220.127.116.11.0 patchset though, I was no longer able to view parameters in the OEM XML DB Configuration screen. I currently have a TAR opened on this issue, and will provide the workaround after Oracle responds back.
